LordFraggington: I'm in Win7 64bit, and I got it to work. I run the game (without admin) in Windows XP compatability, and it works fine (save annoying little bug that won't let me change the default hair and skin colors, as it will turn the selected area reflective silver). Its the only way to get past the splash logo screen that I and a few friends have discovered. Hope that helps!
Edit: There is supposed to be a video as you load the tutorial after creating a character, right? That I need to get to load, if anybody can help with either of those bugs.
Shoecrown: After an extensive search, you're the only person so far that I've come across with this same problem of being unable to change my character's skin color or clothing.
Also, I'm running on Windows 7 64-bit with an NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX+.
I'd really like to play, but this one aesthetic issue is totally ruining the game for me. Have you found any solution to the problem yet?
Sorry Shoecrown, I'm still looking and tweaking, but I promise I'll post ASAP since. as I said, this came out and I convienced a few friends to buy it, and we all have that problem, and luckily are at a tech college, so this won't be too long...I hope :). Then again, telling them not to play....That hasn't worked so well lol.
Then again, I DID have a similar issue in Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory where all my guns and items were silver (and the rest of the maps were incomprehensible visual gibberish), so I am cuirous as to whether or not it's the 3D used in the the game, as certain things like OpenGPL I heard weren't supported in Vista and 7 (this is only what I've heard, plus I have no idea what the used to create NVN).
