After connecting to an active server, i couldnt go back to play single player by selecting a character. i could create a new character, but when i went to select a preexisting one the game crashed. anyone else have this problem?

should mention this is in nwn2. trying a complete uninstall, maybe it was the extra options for characters in the servers. i didnt export any characters from them.... hopefully the re-install will fix it....

ok, re-install no more crash.

the two servers i connected to are from nwnlist.com

Dragoncoast.org (i think this one was the problem) and sigil- city of doors ( i really want to play this one and hope its not what caused the game to crash)

The character you were trying to select for single player - was it one you had initially created on the server? If so, that's likely the issue. I realize you said you hadn't exported the characters, but if memory servers, when you create a character on a server, a copy of that character in its brand new, initial state is saved in your character vault. If the server provided custom items or skills or abilities etc. for a new character then this could have caused the problem.

I wasnt even able to get to the character select screen. The game crashed from selecting Select Character.
