Hi,

the Windows download of the Doom of Icewind Dale expansion is working, but the Linux version is wrong. The file is the same as the Dark Dreams of Furiae file and in the DLC overview under NWN in Games, DoID still has the old version 88.8193.36-13 when choosing Linux.

If that is so, us gamers on this forum cannot help you except to urge you to get support involved.
Yes, you are right! I have contacted the support, so hopefully they fix it soon.
It seems like they just messed up the file link, so maybe we don't have to wait too long.
I thought I was losing my mind with this, but yes it seems that is the case.

I hope this is fixed soon, I was really hoping to play it now. :(
I noticed the same issue when downloading the Linux file.
The bottom of the Store page states, “ Mac and Linux versions will be available soon.”
Good catch, SilberZauber. I haven't noticed it. So hopefully it will be available very soon then.
Hello, in the NeverWinter Vault page for the news about this module, there are instructions to extract the files from the Windows .EXE file and copy them in the installation directory to make it work in Linux. You only need the innoextract utility that should be in the repositories (I use Debian but I presume that is the same for Fedora, Ubuntu, etc.).

Tried it and it works smoothly.
If not, Innoextract is available as Linux executable on project's web page.
Thank you very much for the suggestion of innoextract! It works like a charm.
It is also in the official Arch Linux repositories, so easy to install. Once you have it, just do

innoextract -e setup_neverwinter_nights_doom_of_icewind_dale_89.8193.37-14plusdoiwd_\(64bit\)_\(80107\).exe

Afterwards, copy the content of the newly extracted data folder into the game/data folder:

cp -r data/* ~/GOG\ Games/Neverwinter\ Nights\ Enhanced\ Edition/game/data

... or wherever your NWN installation is.

Credit for the instructions goes to kaze from Neverwinter Vault.

And since it is in Arch's Repo, it should be available on anything Arch-based.
I run Manjaro and it was just a command away.

sudo pacman -S innoextract

When I extracted the files, there are a few folders and files in addition to the Data-folder. As said before, only copy/move the Data-folder to your install. Rest of it seems Windows specific. "Uninstall" etc.

Thanks for the tip boys. Bought the DLC yesterday, I still have no Linux files for DOID listed. Only Windows.

Using Linux is sharing knowledge, isn't it? :)
Hello everybody, in my case the module is not even in the list of downloadable files. Not as a Linux file but neither as a windows exe. It's just gone!

Thanks
