We purchase the game in the hopes of having an awesome weekend multiplayer session, and your fucking piece of shit CD-Key bullshit has ruined things completely.

Please state on your front page or the games info page that a CD-Key has to be requested manually and that you are too lazy to check a few e-mails on weekends.

BESIDES, it says nothing about REQUESTING a CD-key. It just notes you must register your CD-Key. Following a support link before you even purchase a game? Fucking idiocy at the highest level.

Code a simple utility in java that sends out a CD-Key from a list of available to the purchasers E-mail address. Takes about 3 hours, a day of Q&A. Done.
Nothing less should be expected from a professional company like GoG.

Obviously the CD-Key should be in your download or in the e-mail you get when having bought the game.

To be frank your attitude here only degrades any legitimate case you may have.
Even without connecting to the Master Server, I dout the Server would allow two players to have the same Public Player CD-Key. I am not positive on that point, Never having tested it, It is just my gut feeling. Replacing the Generic CD-Keys on one of the clients with a Random Key would overcome that problem on a local network.

As I understand it, a server has to contact the Master Server in order to determine whether or not a CD Key is already in use somewhere else. This is the default operating procedure for servers (as it is for players in order to perform the legitimate CD Key check), but that does not mean it must always be that way.

There have been issues in the past when the Master Server was offline (I forget the specifics of the problems caused however); we now use a scripted secondary authorization system for CD Keys in addition to the default Master Server check, though this is more for account security purposes (in the event that the Master Server goes down) rather than for legitimate CD Key checks.
