So I have windows 7, I got NWN Diamond from GOG.com, I created a module, but I cannot play it. It will not show up in any of the module lists, I even tried editing another module, but it wont work either, but when I go back to the toolset, it is still there and says it is saved (I can reload it and everything) but I just cannot play it. I have looked all over the interwebz it appears that I am the only one with this problem so far, please help me ;'(

Just to rule out the obvious, did you save the module in the "modules" directory?

How do I select where I save it, all I see is "Save" and "Save as"' (sorry if I am missing something, I am really new at this)

Select "Save As" then in the window that pops up navigate to the \Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition\Modules directory and save it there.

When I click "Save as" it only brings up a little window with the other modules on it, no option as to where I can save it.

Sorry about that, just fired up the toolset to confirm a few things and it looks like it's set by default to save to the modules directory, so there shouldn't be any issues there. To rule out another obvious thing, when trying to load the module are you selecting the "Other Modules' option when you go to start a new game?

Yes, it is still not there. Just out of curiosity, is it because I am running it in Windows 7 Compatability mode?

I don't know, I just clicked the "setup.exe" thing on the desktop and it did the rest.

I would hazard a guess that you installed to Program Files. Unfortunately, Program Files in Vista and 7 is protected, and hates the use with a passion. That may be the problem.

It's a pretty big thing to do, I'd wait for a bit and see if anybody else can come up with a less drastic solution first. C:/games should work though, if you do end up going that route. Remember to back up your files so you can paste them in if you reinstall.

On Windows 7? I knew there wasn't always a game folder! They all told me I probably just missed it! Ahem, yeah, it should work just fine.
