Hello everyone!



So, that's what happened: I bought NwN2 from GOG.com.It worked well for... 7-8 months let's say. Then one day -meaning yesterday-, out of the blue, it decided that "working" was too good for it.



When I launch it -of course with admin & compatibility things- there's a black screen (as usual, just as before the ads) BUT it blocks there with my cursor running, like saying "i'm working on it". Fact is, it's blocked and I have to use "Ctrl+Alt+Del" to close the program.



Every time I launch the game, it ends up like that:





- black screen



- the cursor is still useable, but the cursor is like a running wheel



- closing the programming (even after waiting for 30 mins or so) with Ctrl+Alt+Del







Any help, please?

What graphics card & what operating system?

Sounds like a driver or something updated that it didn't like.

As above, report OS and graphic card model and driver.

Be sure everything is up to date.

Well, my OS is Win7 and my graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750.

And of course, it's everything up to date.

About the "there's a black screen (as usual, just as before the ads)", i mean that when you launch the game, for a little while there's a black screen before the intro movies. XD

EDIT:

Adding just that I tried to install again DirectX 9.0c, the .NET Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 AND 2008 (other than 2010 and 2013) but nothing has changed.

I uninstalled it and installed it again -twice-, but nothing changed.

An interesting thing is, every time i uninstalled the game and re-installed again i found it at its last patch (1.23.1765) instead of 1.06....

Just another thing... what you mean by "creating a new one"? Just one new folder called Neverwinter Nights 2 in "My Documents"?

Save your saved games somewhere else, then delete the My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2 folder.
If the problem is caused by something in there. The game will now start and will create a new folder.

EDIT: Tried, but nothing changed :(

Any more ideas? :/
