Hey guys wonder if anyone has any help.
I have have a slight problem with NWN1 (single player mode) in that it runs perfectly for about an hour maybe a bit more than get starts to get become glitchy or lags, the screen will flicker and characters wont walk across the screen they kinda jump to where i've clicked and then i have to wait for the game to catch up. Sometimes when this starts to happen i can change the games restitution which gives me an extra 10 maybe 15 minutes before it kicks off. Once it happens the only solution i can find is to re-boot my PC.

Iv'e tried changing settings i assume my pc just isn't good enough maybe. I have completed the game but it meant rebooting every hour or so, would be nice to find a solution,

If anyone got and advice it'll be much appreciated
Thanks.

Am curious if you have this problem under these conditions:

* even when disconnected from the web

* even when all security and and AV software has been temporarily disabled

you may find better and more useful suggestions once you publish your hardware and OS specs. (We'll assume you've applied the critical rebuild for v1.69 already.)

NWN runs on very low-end PCs so it's unlikely your rig lacks the minimum reqs unless you try to run with integrated graphics or sound, which seldom works.

Hey thanks for getting in touch.
I'm not usually connected to the web while playing and iv'e not tried turning off any AV software.

I'm currently downloading v1.69 so see if that helps, i noticed my version was 1.59 i think.

Worth adding i haven't bought the game from GOG, i have NWN1 and both expansions installed but they where all bought on disc individually many years ago. I have quite an odd PC so Neverwinter might be hitting my limits, but it does work perfectly fine for the most part.

is it possible your system is overheating? Try installing a temperature software like speedfan and check the temperature when the problem starts.
Well since i installed that patch things have been ok, i've been playing on the game for a few hours now without any problems, as a rule it would have duffed up by now.. so maybe that solved the problem.

I haven't had any overheating problems in the past but i'll keep that in mind if it happens again, so fair so good.

Cheers.
