After some playthrus i noticed that besides you (the captain) only the first sailor you recruited actually gets interactions to get more perks. Early game this isnt much of a problem but when on mid-late game when your sailor number increases it shows how difficult is to get a good crew. I dont know if it was intended, but i clearly dont think so since you got cabin boys if you wanna shape a sailor from the ground up.

The perks while sailing should be tonned to be a bit more active, the positive ones at least. I usually avoided negative perks but on my recent playthru i went all out to get all negative perks, its a bit sad the perk conversion to a good one takes too long, its not that much of a problem for the captain but for the negleted sailors on your ship is.

This just makes me go for sailor-whoring, replacing them like theyre nothing. It kills a lot of my immersion on the game really.

Also the autocombat is a real mess, battles that i manage to deal with with minimal damage i somewhat lose a sailor or two. Here too i dont know if its a real mechanic since you arent there to guide your sailors unlike when you command the battle or just a loopsided RNG in favor of the whales.

Besides those the other problem i see is the big loading times, wich i think its more of a problem of the unity engine more than anything.

Anyway thanks for the game i got hooked on it after i saw some MetalBear videos about your game.

Hey THND3UR0B34T, thank you for reaching out to us and for the feedback. We are currently listing the most problematic features to work on in the next weeks, and we are definitely going to improve the calculation for automatic combat, as well as putting an option to speed up combat animations during the actual combat.

We will also try to speed up loading times, but, as you rightly said, there is little room for improvements since the scenes management of Unity. We will do our best.

I'll try to take a look to perks, there are a couple of things we would like to change about random events and we will see if it will be enough to improve the situation.
Glad to help, cant wait to see this gem more polished.
