I'm having trouble in the Stoneship Age of realMYST. No matter how much I wind up the battery, the lighthouse light never turns on, and I can't use the compass rose in the tunnel. It was also extremely hard to find the tunnel because the passageways are all so dark. I think the lights are supposed to come on at some point? But I keep winding and winding the battery, the blue bar fills up, and nothing else happens. What can I do? This is in Windows 10.

There's a buzzing alarm, yes. But the normal lights don't turn on and I can't do the thing with the compass rose.

But now I have another issue where the game won't even run (and I didn't change anything about my install), so now it's completely unplayable. The window goes full-screen and then just reverts to my normal desktop, with the game in a running window that doesn't do anything except flash the blank full-screen again when I click on it. I have no idea what happened.
