After numerous crashes and poor/sluggish performance I have found that using the compatibility setting of Windows XP Service Pack 3 works fantastic. No more crashes and great graphics.

All though this game is listed as compatible with Windows 8 it is not!

Just wanted to let anyone who is experiencing the same issues know. There should be a sticky on this!

As to the game itself.... Wow, what an improvement over the other versions of Myst.
