Am i missing something? The GOG version of Myst is just the original, not the Masterpiece Edition as advertised... Kinda want my money back, or at least put towards another game...

It is absolutely Myst: Masterpiece Edition. What makes you think it isn't?

Unless you mean RealMyst: Masterpiece Edition, which is a different product and not what GOG is advertising.

2-Myst Masterpiece Edition
3-realMyst
4-realMyst Masterpiece Edition

2 and 3 are the games on GOG's catalogue so it's likely you're mixing up the games/versions.
