By default the Linux version requires you to install a few libraries/dependancies before running the game, since they aren't included with the game this can be quite a hassle for some people.
Below you'll find a patch that you can simply extract where you installed M&B Warband and run the game without having to modify your system (and thus no risk of breaking it).
Linux Mint 17 Download Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw5Xv02Yq2HrUmE5Ri1xcVI4WFE
Linux Mint 18 Download Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw5Xv02Yq2HreVh6V1Vfc0FGQ1U
This will work on both Linux Mint 32 and 64 bit Editions.
[UPDATE - 29TH AUGUST 2016]
Apparently Mint 18 requires you to install a few more packages than Mint 17, as such I have created a separate patch for Mint 18 users (Tested personally on a Mint 18 64Bit Installation with Intel HD Graphics).
Thank you for your reports and please let me know if you encounter issues, I'll do my best to fix them.
