carfner: The various manners accross the web to enable cheats do not seam to work, do anyone know wich file (if present on gog bannelord) must be altered?
Also if its a dll or other file notepad can't open, how do I access it.
No .dll is required.
It's pretty simple.
1. Find the engine_config.txt file, which should be in the Config folder of your Bannerlord folder under your documents. For me, that's Documents > Mount and Blade II Bannerlord > Configs.
2. Open engine_config.txt in Notepad++
3. Search for the line that says cheat_mode = 0. Change that to cheat_mode = 1. Save the file. You should be good to go. If this doesn't work, then something might be wrong with your game installation.
Edit: I just noticed that your original post made reference to Notepad. I recommend using Notepad ++, which is a free download. It's much less likely to insert or remove special characters in the file, which can cause problems. That's what I used, and gave my instructions from. Notepad probably isn't causing you a problem, but if it still doesn't work, then try Notepad ++.
