I need the overlay feature but it doesn't work, no way that I know of. Does anyone know how to activate it in this game?

Works fine for me out of the box but I can see why it's possible that it won't work for everybody.

Please try this fix and report if it works for you. Just in case, here you can find the install instructions.

Did you check if the overlay is enabled for This War of Mine?
Do you have any other overlay active? Riva Tuner, GeForce Experience, etc...

1-YES! is activated
2-I have other apps, but they don't interfere in other games, only in This War of Mine the overlay doesn't work.

That could be the problem. It all depends on the engine the game is made with. Some games work fine with multiple overlays and some do not.
Please try to disable all other overlays and try again.
