Hi,
I have just bought Moon Hunters, and I'm having trouble playing with controllers (PS3 controller and Wii U Pro Controller) on Debian.
Those controllers work out of the box in Crawl and Hyper Light Drifter, but here, it seems to detect them, but it will only mention keyboard keys in the (uneditable) keybindings, even for “Controller 1” and “Controller 2”. And indeed, when I start a new game, controller users can't join.

Any idea how to solve that issue?

Not a solution (sorry), but just sharing that this appears to be a known bug:

I've managed to play with a xbox controller, but I had no luck with anything else I've tried!

I confirm, I spent few hours to test many solutions with a PS3 controller, no results. But a Xbox controller works perfectly. Sorry for players who do not have a Xbox controller.

Hi,
just to re-confirm, PS4 controller is non functional also...

Is this game still being updated? Seems a very long time
to take to fix basic hardware support.

When I installed the game, my Controller (Logitech F310) worked just fine.

After changing the key bindings however, the controller stopped working properly.

Fortunately I was able to locate the file
/.local/share/MoonHunters/SaveData/keybindings.bin
that the game had created.

Deleting this file solved the problem for me.
