I'm playing (better i try to play) the german version of the game and my problem is, that i can't change the resolution in the settings menu. I click at it but it doesn't change and the normal resolution 1440 x 990 is a little bit to good for my computer. But i can change other settings, like shadows etc. . Is there a way to change the resolution? I installed it another time but that does not solve the problem. Should i download another version?

I can't change the Resolution, that's the problem, if i hit the left button it doesn't go down, if i click the hit button it doesn't go up. But yes, i also hit the set button, nothing has changed. The problem is that the only resolution that is for me available is 1440 x 900. I can't even select another resolution :(

The resolution setting is buggy. When i set it to 1280x720 the image get's stretched, because it's really 1280x960. This happens with other resolutions too.

If i even could change the resolution i would be happy xD

The game settings appear to be stored in the Registry.
Location is at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PolyPusherStudios\MontaguesMount\

Inside that key the screen resolution keys are:
Screenmanager Resolution Height_h2627697771
Screenmanager Resolution Width_h182942802

You could try changing them there by double clicking on them and setting width/height using a decimal value (not hex). so 1920 and 1080 would set the resolution to 1080p.

You might want to backup your registry settings for that hive before messing with them though. I'm sure it's not supported.

This does not work for me. When i set it to 1280x720 and run the game, it changes back to 1920x1080 or other values.

Does not work for me, too. After start of the game, the value change back and I get back the black screen.

Ok, the support at mastertronic is useless and a patch will take weeks, i fear. :(

I fiddled around with some settings and the only way to get 1280x720 work correctly in the game, is to set the desktop resolution to 1280x720. Maybe this will help others.

As far as I understood mastertronic is just the publisher. The game is developed by polypusherstudios which is why I've sent my support request (broken achievements) to them.
