Everytime I go to save my game none of the saves I've tried to make appear in the load option when I re-open the game. I've tried to load with cloud saves on and off but it is the same either way. Any idea how to fix this?

I'm from Holland, i have the same problem. Ihope someone knows an answer
Hmm I can't even get the menu to appear - so I have the same problem?
Also experiencing this issue. Has this been resolves yet for anyone?
Does the gog version use ScummVM? If so, pressing F5 or Ctrl+F5 should bring up a menu?!
If i remember well back in the day you pressed f1 to bring the save menu... but not sure...

F1 doesn't work. I can't get to the menu. The only way to exit is ctrlZ. In general seems like the hot keys don't work
Success!!! This is a keyboard issue. Some new keyboards require enabling the F1 key.

I found this solution and it worked for me. On my keyboard, I do the following when i'm in the game intro -> function lock (or Fn) then Caps lock, then F1. F1 is now enabled, and I finally see the SCUMM menu when I press F1. I can load and save games. And do other options! After quitting, F1 reverts to not being enabled, so I have to do these steps again when I restart the game.

I posted this solution below at the current bottom of the thread. I don't know if this is your issue but it applies to those of us who had save/load issues related to the menu.
Some new keyboards don't enable F1 as a default. This keeps you from being able to get to the save/load menu to make saves. On my keyboard I have to do this to enable F1. After starting the game, during the intro, I do the following key strokes : Fn (your keyboard may say function lock), then Caps (or Cap lock) and then F1.

In short: Function lock, then Caps lock, then F1. F1 is enabled and all my problems were solved. When you exit the game, F1 reverts to NOT enabled. So you need to do these keystrokes every time you start the game.

I finally got this to work for me. I hope this works for you. Some new keyboards don't have F1 enabled by default. To enable F1 let the game start, then do these keystrokes: Fn (Function lock) then Caps (Caps lock) then F1. Now when you hit F1 in the game you get the Scumm menu and have access to save, load and lots of other options. When you leave the game, F1 reverts to not enabled. Use the keystrokes every time you start the game to enable F1.

Seems to be specific to your laptop (only laptops come with a Fn key). Have you tried opening the menu by hitting the F5 key? Because that would be standard for games based on the SCUMM engine.
