I can't get my F310 or F710 to work with Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight. I made sure they were both in Xinput mode. It does seem like most Game Maker games have issues with gamepads under Linux. That said, for this kind of game, Antimicro works perfectly fine.
Qjoypad is also a good for this too

Hello there,

Unforunately, for Game Maker games the only way to use xinput controllers (such as Xbox gamepads or Logitech F310/F710) is to use xboxdrv instead of the default xpad kernel driver. Feel free to give it a go. Here are some basic pointers on how to use it: https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/how-to-configure-your-gamepad-on-ubuntu/
Just tried xboxdrv, I can confirm it works.

Okay, thanks for the information. Antimicro is more convenient for my setup so I'll stick to that, but that's good to know.

I seem to remember something about that from a few years ago when Game Maker games first started popping up on Linux, but it's been a few years.

I figured that was fixed, though, as Hyper Light Drifter accepts xpad just fine.

Thats a shame, Its fortunate that you can configure the steam controller to use keyboard keys, using sc-controller, IDK if this works with any other controllers, but that could be another option for those who wish to get controllers working with this game.
