Whenever I run this game, which I installed using all the GOG installer defaults, I see the splash screen, then a black screen, then an error message which says that "MobileForces.exe has stopped working."

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit on an ASUS u30jc laptop: dual Geforce 310M & Intel Integrated graphics, 4GB RAM.

My compatibility settings are:

Windows XP (SP 2)
Disable visual themes
Disable desktop composition
Disable display scaling on high DPI settings
Run as administrator

Does anyone have an idea how I can make this run? Did anybody else have similar issues?

edit: I just updated my NVIDIA drivers, but the issue remains.

For unrelated issues, I reformatted my hard drive and did a clean install of Windows 7. It had been about four years, so it was long overdue.

The game works just fine now. Sorry I can't offer a less nuclear-option solution than this, though.
