So, my game crashes right when I enter the Earth Lord's prison. Turning all sound off does not help, it still crashes.

I've played this game many times and I have a patch installed, but this is the first time I've encountered this bug in the prisons.

Has anyone else encountered this? I'd really like to finish the game, it's silly to quit now.

Yep, still crashes. I've tried just with the music off and with all sound off, but it still crashes practically immediately.
