Hi!

I have a problem I went down the light path. Did the Faction initiation quest, also 2 for the advisors and nobody will teach me Light Magic. I can buy them, but no one will teach me the skill so I can not use them. What am I missing?

That is correct. If you look at the Magic Skills table (page 10) of the manual it shows what class progression you need to obtain before you can buy the skill at a Light guild. Priest of Light for Clerics and Archmage for Sorcerors.
