I installed MM7 from GoG. I have Win7 64 bits. The music doesn't play. Quite ironic, since I bought it on GoG because my CD version had problems with stuttering music...

Any ideas how I can solve this?

You could try the GreyFace patch listed in the stickies and see if that has any effect.
I dont seem to have any music either. I just got this game yesterday and added greyface update. Everything seems to be ok with the audio except I have no music. Any ideas why?
I have windows xp and none of my other games have any sound problems.
I started with the Greyface patch. You have to manually edit the MM7.ini file to "MusicLoop=0", or something like that. I did, and now the music loops. There's also an option to enable MP3 music or not. Change that too.
Rather disappointing, considering that I just bought the GOG version of this game just so I can enjoy it without the annoyances of the one I have on the Might and Magic: Millennium Edition set.

Weird thing happened. I reinstalled MMVII, with Greyface's patch, did "MusicLoop=0", but the music still won't loop. I did download the seperate musictracks and re-named them, though.

Any other suggestions?

I have exactly the same problem. Windows XP here, GOG version of the game. I installed the patch, created the 'music' folder and renamed the music files from 2 to 20. Everything works fine (mouse look etc), except the music - it plays a track only ONCE and then dead silence. I tried changing the MusicLoop to any number (like 3, 4, 5 etc) and nothing helps. The music just doesn't loop. Any suggestions would be much appreciaced because playing this game with music not looping really kills the atmosphere...

My settings:
NoCD=1
PlayMP3=1
MusicLoopsCount=0

Please write to our Support department about this issue,everyone :) Thanks :D
A solution for those who don't like to quicksave/quickload the game every 2-3 minutes to repeat Paul Romero's music would be to extend the tracks themselves. This can be easily done using Audacity (it is free and there are plenty tutorials on youtube). Just open the *.mp3 in Audacity and ctrl+c / ctrl+p the track 10 times and save the file. Replace original tracks with the new extended tracks. This will give you 20-30 minutes of looping music.
