Hello
First time poster on these forums, but long time MM6 player. I've beat it several times completing every quest and dungeon and decided to pick it up on the recent GOG sale.
The game installed fine and appears to work fine on my windows 7 desktop. However I'm noticing that the GOG version provided by the installation has autorun mode turned on ? I don't remember MM6 having an autorun feature (unlike MM7). I assume this autorun feature is the reason I'm getting a huge amount of misses and long recovery time in real-time combat ? I'm no stranger to early MM6 difficulty issues, but I'm playing similar to how I did several years ago and I could play fine there with real-time combat 99% of the time. Now I'm playing early in goblinwatch and the abandoned temple and getting absolutely destroyed by packs that I could whittle down just fine with how I used to play ? Is it this autorun thing (which is a combat issue in MM7 I know) or is there something else I'm missing ?
There is no option in-game to disable autorun and it used to require a constant shift toggle in MM6 when I played years ago. There is also no mention in the instruction manual.
