Got the M&M six pack in 2020 from GOG. Are the issues with mm6 resolved or is a patch still needed?

well yes and no, its definitely playable without the patch but you'll have a better n less buggy time with it
Thanks. It kinda sucks that GOG would sell faulty games. If there are fixes out there maybe they should care enough to not sell inferior products. The least they could do is give you a list of the products you will need in addition to what they sell.
wouldn't hold it against em, 100 bucks income they get from the might and magic series yearly is just not worth the effort of making sure the games compatible with every new windows update. the alternative for people that want to play these would be pirating em from shady ass websites risking viruses if gog wasn't doing what its doing, which we can still do.
Point taken. I guess bitching about a game I paid $1.49 for seems kinda childish. I mean what was I expecting. I'd just like to know up front that a product I'm purchasing is flawed especially if I meet all of the minimum system requirements. It's not like the game hasn't been out for three decades and all of a sudden there are issues. A simple list of known problems and how they can be resolved seems to be asking to much. Or better yet, fix the issues and sell me a problem free product for $9.99. I'll gladly pay the difference to have an issue free game.

Anyway, enough ranting, now get those damn kids off my grass and turn that shit down, that's not music.

By the way, just googled Estonia. What a beautiful place, how have I never heard of it before? I really need to get out more.

Just completed WoX and installed MM6. Checked for updates after install and it said non were available. The Readme.txt file lists two patches which corrected a bunch of bugs and other information regarding manual errata. Armed with this information, what other concerns or bugs should I be aware of that have not already been corrected?
Just get Grayface's patch. It really is fantastic.

I've played the latest "official" game when it came out in 1998;
and on the top of my head, heavy armor was increasing weapon swing time by a lot.
Dual wielding was useless.

The first time I played MM6 with it working correctly was thanks to Grayface.

An on the other end of the scale, there's me saying the game plays just fine as-is. Maybe there's problems with Win10 and Win11, but I played through fine with the basic GOG install, no patch.
Been playing for about a month now. This is my first run thru of this game. Party is up to level 50 and have done all promotion quests and only one counsel quest left. All I've got left after that is the oracle business and endgame. I'm running windows 10 pro with the GOG version of game. No patches or third party programs installed. There has been no issues with the game. I was reluctant to try the games later than WOX because everything I've read said I needed to install this or rewrite that or tweek the thingy or stand on my head with my thumb up my ass to enjoy the games because they were so flawed. Happily, this is not the case. I'm having a ball and am looking forward to playing more of the games. So far my only complaint has to do with content not playability. Just finished Gharik's Forge. What the hell!!! Did Hogwarts have a sale on wizards. What is more than one wizard doing anywhere. I thought they were solitary and the only time you saw two together they were fighting each other. What's next? A bunch of dragons hanging out together? I'd like a little realism to my fantasy please.

Enjoy Dragonsands.
considering the apocalyptic state of the world it would make sense that normally solitary races would come together to seek solutions hue

Only problem I have now is I can no longer play in windowed mode or otherwise adjust the screen size.
