_So other than Lord Haart's ancestors and the main quest, is there anything fun to do in the past?
_Did anyone try leaving the game running for a 100 years in the 800s and see what happens when it reaches 900 again?

I think the game kicks your characters back to the present eventually. You aren't allowed to stay in the past indefinitely.

Nope. That's the way. I think it did it to me every time I rested, but it's been a while since I played.

I just noticed, that when you use the time machine to go to year 800, you don't appear on day 1, but on the day that was when you last left it.

So technically it should be possible to reach year 900 by going to year 800 and resting till you get thrown back, then going there again. it's going to take a *LOT* of time by doing it that way, unless someone has a way of speeding it up...
