A while ago, I did something to make the guards angry in Castle Woodhaven. Who knows what it was.
Is there any way for me to make them stop being angry? I'm trying to go visit the lord to do quests for him but his stupid guards are making this impossible.
You probably tried to steal his treasure.

Usually, guards stop being angry when you leave the castle and re-enter, though, so I'm not sure what happened in your case.

In MM1 and MM2, leaving an area resets all fixed monster encounters, special encounters , and fixed treasures as well, with some very rare exceptions like the lords quests.

EDIT: I only know about the DOS versions of all games.

Leaving and coming back definitely resets things in mm1, but it seems not in mm2. There must be a flag set on the characters or in the save file. It's definitely not inventory, because dropping everything didn't change anything.

Edit:
Huh, it seems this has something to do with the Amiga version. Loading my save into DOS, no one attacks me.
