Has anyone gotten MM1/MM2 running on a 64bit OS? Alas, trying to run it gives the familiar "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running". I have played around with various compatability settings, but I wasn't expecting them to help (it being an old, old program and a 64bit OS) and they didn't.

I thought MM1 was run through dosbox? Are you running the game from the desktop shortcut or start menu shortcut and not the games actual folder?

Just installed the six-pack to test and all are working fine on Vista 64 for me.
I have played them on Windows 7 64-bit and they work without any problems.

I never had either of these things for any of the M&M games except 6. But they're all there. Maybe I'll re-do the installation.

When you reinstall try right clicking on the installer as well and running that as an administrator.

I will try this today after work.
You may also need to install the game with User Account Control disabled.

I apparently un-checked the "create desktop shortcuts" option on install last time, since I couldn't even find them in my recycle bin. I reinstalled and everything is good to go now, thanks.
