I've had both installed and working fine. Now I upgraded my monitor from a 1920*1080 to a 2560*1440 monitor and suddenly, the games are stretched-out.
They used to launch with black side-bars, which was perfect.
Nothing changed in my graphic settings. Nvidia even shows "keep aspect ratio of game."

Any idea how I can make the black side-bars appear again?

P.S.: Diablo II has the same issue.

P.P.S.: Alt + Enter doesn't work.

This technique worked for me once
Compatibility option >Change High DPI Settings - Application ( R\click games shortcut and select Properties > Compatibility)

I'd check the monitor menu and look for some kind of scaling/ratio settings override.

There should be an option next to this to perform the scaling on GPU or Monitor. Make sure to select GPU, unless your monitor has the option to change it.

See attached. If you perform scaling on a monitor, then there probably is a setting on the monitor itself that's overriding it.

Thanks! My monitor was indeed configured for 16:9. I changed it to "auto-detect" and now all is well.
