Hi there,

I am thinking of buying the Might and Magic series at GOG for a friend of mine. My question now is are the games in German? I have some boxed versions here but they are all English. Which games that I can buy on gog are in German language or have at least German subtitles.

There are German installers for Might and Magic 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
1, 2 and 9 are English only.

So I just missed an offer on eBay for the Might and Magic World of Xeen Triology.
And now it's too expensive to buy.
I thought I read somewhere that only part 6 of the GOG version can be played in German.
Now in this thread ZFR mentioned, that there are German installers for lots of other parts including 4 and 5.
I would be grateful if someone could confirm that^^

I remember that World of Xeen in the German version also has some voices in German, like the trainer saying "Ja, ganz gut" when leveling up a character or the lady guarding Ellingers tower saying "Wo habt ihr denn den Schlüssel her? Ja, wenn's denn sein muss".

Yes. The non-CD version is in German and it does have little digitized speech. The CD version with full speech was released only in English.

GOG offers MM9 in english only. However there is a possibility to convert it to german - but it seems that you need the original german disk for doing so.
