Is it really that bad? I have it on cd i never could it getting to run so i cant say if its good.

I've been watching this MM9 let's play and it looks interesting enough that I might buy it during the Christmas sale :)

well i hope its workeble i have seen a lets play also and what i had understand there is an unofficial path that fixed some of the bugs

The GOG version comes with the unofficial patch - that LP has the 1.3 patch, so I'm interested to see if he can finish the game.

I can confirm that it is both playable and possible to beat with TELP's 1.3 patch, as I did so within the past year. Although I would pay close attention to any lists of unresolved issues you might be able to find, as you can never be certain when you might run into a game-breaking bug. (I don't recall any on my playthrough, but then again, I seem to be inordinately lucky about such things).

It's really not that bad. No, it's not good by any means, but if you want to see it for yourself its at least tolerable, especially since the TELP patch makes it not crash to the desktop every 5 minutes.

oh well i have bought it since i wanted them all mow my collection is complete. Sight still have to play 1 2 3 i have finished 4 need to finish 5,6,7,8,9 as well its gonna take a while expacily 1

I played the entire series and liked MM9. It was different from the others in the series, but the new classes and new look made it fun. It did seem like an incomplete product though, it is obvious it was released as NWC was headed down the tubes in a desperate attempt to make money.

Yes, I beat (actually, I prefer the word "completed") M&M 9 twice prior to the 1.3 patch, actually, and enjoyed it a lot, myself. I didn't know the game wasn't any good until later, when I started reading all of the posts describing how bad it was...;) (Wonder how that slipped by me?) Heh...;)

Agreed...;) I guess I should have qualified my remarks with a /facetious or /sarcasm marker...;) I surely enjoyed the game, and no amount of negative reports afterword were able to change my mind (of course)...;)

When I try to use the Teleport Spell,the game crashes.I have tried most compatibility modes and I am running windows 7 32Bit.But it's still crashing.Anyone have a fix for this.
