In the game I downloaded the the stone statues to completel the Dark Elf advance ment quest cannot be turned back into people. Niether the scroll or the regular spell work

Also I cannot get Charels Quitoti to accept the completion of the Knight advancement despite having Blazen Stormlance in my party and having recovered the spear

Did you get the scrolls from Dantillion's Residence(?) in the Murmur Woods village? I checked a guide, and it said casting the spell manually will not work.

Are you trying to cast the scrolls manually, or are you clicking on the statutes while the scroll is in the active character's inventory? If you haven't tried just clicking on them (don't try to manually use a scroll on them), then try that. Make sure the active character has a scroll in their inventory when you click, just to be sure.

As an additional note: When you rescue Cauri. make sure to ask about the promotion before closing the conversation. Is Blazen the one holding Ebonest (either in hand or in inventory)?

Ah. Yep, you have to go where Charles is actually located in order to get the promotion.

The dragon faction leader is also the one who promotes Dragons, so the same issue applies (for Dragons) if you side with the dragons.
