I have bought might and magic legacy but before I continue play I tried might and magic 6 again I have to say that its a challencing game I finished goblin watch and the abandon temple and have to say the dungeons after that are really hard.
Kind of like the hard teacher that everyone bitched about at the time, but is remembered because you actually learned something, the 1990's saw a number of hard RPG (and strategy) games that people still remember--- because they were actually satisfying to win. M&M series unfortunately took the usual path of dumbing down the product. M&M 7--- though a better story-- was somewhat easier; M&M 8, you had to tie one arm behind your back to make it acceptable in terms of paly; and MM9 I found to be broken.

The genre was getting old anyway. But making it too easy killed the concept completely.

Have fun with Darkmoor.

I've had the game for about 12 years now and the best advice I can give you is to make ample use of turn based mode. In the beginning of the game it makes dealing with hordes of enemies much easier. It also helps vastly to go to the island of Mist and buy the bow skill for everyone in the party! You will not regret it!

There are other baa quests in ironhelm and mist that aren't unmanageable for a prepared low level party. I suggest picking up water walk at the water guild while you are there.

I noticed that something against poison is very handy there
