I am playing MM7 for blood and Honor after many years of absense.
I would like your thoughts please on which is better for 2 of my 4 party combination.
2 Monks or Knight plus Thief.

While we are on the subject of either or
Raise AC or hit points. Which do you think is best focus.
love me some monk fisting action but technically speaking the knight + thief is superior for the early / mid game.
aand you'll cap out on AC soon enough anyways so hp is usually better, no idea how this is a choice you'd have to make in a game tho

Knight + Thief, by far. Both pairs fight fine, but Knight + Thief cover skills in a way 2 Monks just don't.

Both hp and AC can be useful, but stacking HP is better than stacking AC since some things (ex. Spells) ignore AC while dealing damage.
It depends on what your 2 other party members are. Master promotion (light) gives you expert spirit which is awesome. Dump skill points in it to get high level bless and heroism and youre golden.

If you have another party member (cleric etc.) with either spirit or better yet light magic (Hour of Power), then the expert spirit magic on the master becomes redundant.
