I read that there was a special CD-ROM that had combined both 4&5, and added lots of speech that wasn't in the floppy versions. Does the GoG 6-pack include this CD-ROM version?

This version is not the floppy edition but does has limited speech and is not the larger 2CD version, as it was not part of the original MM6LE pack at retail.
In another post, GOG staff did say they would try and look into it and suggested that they could provide the 2CD edition if Ubisoft gives the clear and they can package it up for release. This is all in no-guarantee no-promises mode.

The full talkie CD version dont show texts when talking with NPCs. You can only hear the speech.

So if it's not the floppy version, but not the CD version either, what is it? And what's the difference between the floppy version and whatever this is?

At this moment GOG's It is the normal CD version, that was originally released with some speech. But In 1994, NWC released an enhanced World of Xeen CD, which expanded the amount of digital speech in the game (i.e. full talkie). Ok?

In 1992, NWC released "normal MM4" on CD-ROM, but didn't include full voice, so very little of the CD-ROM's capacity was actually used.
In 1993, NWC released "normal MM5" on CD-ROM, and likewise didn't have full voice, and didn't use much of the capacity.
In 1994, NWC released "World of Xeen," a 2-disc game that included all of the content of the previously released "normal MM4" and "normal MM5," plus full voice acting that filled the capacity of both discs.
And what's included here is not "World of Xeen," just the CD-ROM versions of "normal MM4" and "normal MM5."
Is that how it goes? Or is there a "normal World of Xeen" that only has partial voice and was released before 1994?

Actually the GoG versions of Might and Magic 4 & 5, are the floppy releases.
There were no separate CD releases of Might and Magic 4 & 5, only the combined World of Xeen was released on CD, with complete speech.
The floppy releases of Might and Magic 4 & 5 were included on several game complications over the years though.

Right, almost.
If you install MM5 over MM4 you get World of Xeen. GOG's version is already combined (MM4&MM5). And yes, originally MM4 & MM5 were released on floppies only, I was not sure about that. So GOG's World of Xeen is the combined MM4 & MM5 floppies version.

Actually you can turn the text on and talking off.. There are two extra buttons in the in-game settings for it.
