Hello,
I just decided to try chalenge team in MM7. I decided to play without elemental magic, but can't even think about missing torchlight and eye spell. So I choose Ranger instead of Sorcerer and my team looks this way: Knight, Knight, Ranger, Cleric. As far as i know, Ranger should be able to cast basic elemental spells after first promotion - to Hunter. It's easy so I gone for it as fast as I can, buy two magic skills (fire and air magic), buy two spells and... my Hunter doesnt have mana. Why? Is it normal? I never play with this class before, but I'm able to buy spells, and don't have suplies to cast them...

I will be grateful for any help.
Mana is affected by intellect, personality and meditation skill, raising them should help.

Thanks for reply. My hunter has 13 inteligence. I always think classes get all mana per level points for all levels after promotion (for example level 5 hunter should has 10 mana points suddenly after promotion - 2 mana fer level). Am i wrong?

Or maybe I shoud just get more levels and i will get my mana slowly? I must check it, when I back home.

Any other ideas?
In mm7 character level, stat modifiers, meditation skill and other values are added together, the sum is multiplied with the base spellpoints the class gets.
So you'll start getting mana when you level up. You can use temporary stat raises to check how much you need to start getting spellpoints.
If you're lucky you can find random items during your travels which add mana.

Thanks! I cheked it and it is true. About level 10 I got few mana points, enough for Wizard's Eye and Torchlight. Ranger is really weird class, but I like him. I hope his axe will help killing big creatures :)
