On Docks I finally get 4k credits and walk up to buy papers and the game crashes. The game literally cheated me the exact moment I won on that level. Expletives came out for several minutes because I was particularly careful in Docks and it took longer than it should have to be done, noting bad level and game design. Now I honestly cannot make myself play the game anymore unless I edit the save file to where I won docks, but I can't nor can I find a save file online. This is literally the only way I can play again is just unlock everything because I was cheated in such a bad way.

Seriously, the only time I ever got a crash is the exact moment I buy papers for a level I lost many times on. Based on that experience alone I simply cannot recommend this game for purchase by anyone I like. I'm certain I can't be the only person screwed by stupidity of design (lack of normal saves) and murphy's law on this game.

Found out what causes the crash, and it's repeatable. If in a menu like buying weapons, tool, papers, or a contract, if I hit esc twice to exit the first menu then the 2nd so I can run from a police drone you can cause a crash by pressing esc twice too fast. This is really irritating, so no quick escapes from a menu when a police drone just parks next to you while you are busy. This shouldn't be like this, the crash and the fact that they can come up to you while in a menu.

EDIT: cheated again, 3k credits on docks and by picking up a case with no police drones in sight one happens to see me somehow picking up a case and it shoots me through the corner of a building next to a hacker terminal. Cheated. Again. Seriously considering uninstall at this point, it's not a challenge, it's not skill based, this is just random glitches and bs killing you with no fun and no gain. Flawed game design to the core.

We just uploaded the newest version (1.0.3) of the game, perhaps it will help solve some of the problems you are experiencing?

After a while cooling off from the frustrating events listed in my prior posts and looked at the new patch, it does not fix the crashing. As I said, if you are in like a buy menu or job menu and hit esc twice to get out that of menu quick (once to go back to the main menu, then the next to exit and get control of your character) then it crashes every time for me. It's very repeatable. And I'm not running some budget PC, I can play Far Cry 4 and Battlefield 4 on this rig just fine. The new patch fixes minor annoyances but not the core problem I am having with the game. Not to mention the at times randomness and nonsense around some of your deaths. This gets very bad when you have lots of money saved up.
