Anyone know what version this GOG release is? The exe says 2.0.0.2, but I don't seem to find this version anywhere on the net. Thanks if anyone knows.
Please provide version numbers for all Metro games on GOG.
GOG usually provides the last OFFICIAL version of the game in the installers.

The only "exception" are the games that are still getting support, as there is a brief windows before they update the installers.

However, the internal numbers used by GOG for their control has lead to many, many confusions between us the gamers.

I don't own the Metro games, I want to know if they are patched to the latest version on GOG:
Metro 2033 Redux: https://steamcommunity.com/app/286690/announcements/
Metro: Last Light Redux: https://steamcommunity.com/app/287390/allnews/

The answer should be yes. Those patches are from 2015.

That's not certain. For modern games there's often no way for GOG to obtain the patches unless developer releases an update for the GOG version. There are many outdated games on GOG: https://www.gog.com/mix/games_that_treat_gog_customers_as_second_class_citizens

I want to know before I buy. Metro 2033 Redux (Steam) has some crashing issues.

As pillars of eternity is in that list, I'll not give too much credit to it. Plus, that is more a problem of the companies releasing the game to GOG.

Edit:

Ok, seems that Pillars is there for the absence of an upgrade (that is in a eternal "coming soon"). But again, if the companies does not release their last version to GOG there is nothing GOG can do.

If you are feeling that there is too little information about the current edition of this game on GOG portal, then don't buy the game.
