LeonardoCornejo: Because my issue is apparently caused by a weak graphic card crashign the program due to overload. Which makes sense since there are many games I can't even run due to graphic requirements.
Uh, I'm using a 1.9Ghz Dual Core and the accompaning Intel HD 4300 integrated graphics and 2033 Redux gives me the same problem BUT Last Light Redux worked without any problems at all. I'm not so sure the problem is simply too-weak hardware.

KakePro: I just wanted to add to this topic, even though it seems it has already been solved.
Anyway, I was tearing my hair out trying to get this game working yesterday. I tried everything, lowering the res in the user.cfg, turning off advanced PhysX, reinstalling the PhysX drivers, resetting my Nvidia card settings, replacing legal.ogv with a blank text document, everything I could find off the Steam forums. Eventually I resorted to sending a ticket to GoG support, and one of their suggestions caught my eye ('Unplug additional external devices, like joysticks and controllers'), mainly because I had a similar problem with the Steam version of MGS5:GZ where my game would crash with my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick plugged in.
Guess what? I unplugged my joystick and the game started up just fine, and I've been playing it just fine for a couple hours now.
So, if anybody is having this problem and their system settings should easily match the games minimum requirements, try unplugging your joystick or controller first and then launch the game. I have no idea why it causes the game to crash, but it worked for me. Hope this helps.
This works, if you have peripherials such as controllers. I don't, I like the feeling of my keyboard.Anyway, I was tearing my hair out trying to get this game working yesterday.
