Hello,

I take it that the online-only DRM is now safely removed...?

Is this game still based on a checkpoint system of saves or is manual saving possible?

If yes: How long are the spaces between checkpoints? Can you get to a new save within 10 minutes of playing?

Also, does this game have the higher difficulty mode (some early sources suggest it was to be held back from the first release as paid DLC)?

Can't say about checkpoints, but they seem to be pretty close to each other, so pick-up-and-play is possible.
And yes, ranger difficulty is there! As all the other DLC that was released for the non-redux version.

"Redux adds all the DLC and graphical improvements."

1. DRM is removed.
2. There are checkpoints, no manual saving
3. Definitely
4. There is higher difficulty that you may select.

Thank you both very much.

It would be nice to see GoG.com keep track of which games have manual saves and which don't (I don't mind automatic saves - but it is good to know before buying so I'm not surprised).
