some achievements in Metro LL don't work for me. Is it only for me or there is more people how can't progress with achievements? Some works and some doesn't. Like No Shooting Allowed - kill 10 enemies with throwing knieves or Survivor 2034 - ending on survivor mode.
crasher563: Achievement data is stored in the user.cfg file in your Appdata folder.
Ex: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\4A Games\Metro Last Light
If you've played the game previously on the same system on steam for example, the game is going to use the same file and not give you the achievements it thinks you've already unlocked. Deleting the file and staring the game should generate a new one, but this will also reset the difficulty which potentially screws your playthrough over if you are going for the beating the game on ranger mode achievement or others.
Hello, sorry to necro but I have trouble unlocking the Invisible Soldier achievement, already did 3 playthroughs. I considered trying this method, but I realized there are already 2 separate user.cfg files. The one for Steam (dated 2019) is in a folder with a string of numbers and letters, but the GOG one is outside said folder. I have no problems so far except this achievement.
UPDATE: I think I pinpointed the issue. Its not buggy nor clashing with Steam data. But rather the overlay issue. In the sessions where the achievements don't unlock, I did not get the "overlay enabled" notification. But subsequent sessions always have the notifications, so I think the GOG overlay may be bugged that day.
