Hi there guys..

I'm playing Metro 2033 Redux and I'm at the Tower mission (not the one when you just start the game): I had to began that chapter whit very few air charges available so I run out of it when I reached the tower, killed the Demon (who seriously wounded Miller, so I have to go on alone); but I cannot go further because I die after few seconds because of no air at all!
I tried to start the chapter from scratch from start menu but it makes me starting with o seconds air available! LOOOL

what could I do? DO you have any suggestion? I would prefer not to "cheat", if possible..
thanks a lot, see you! ;)

Not sure if it helps in your case but you can stretch out your air supply significantly if you only put on your gas mask for a second and then off again until you almost suffocate. You can repeat this as often as you want without any consequences.

I read on another thread about this exploit (maybe was a post of yours, can't say for sure), thanks, but not really useful in my sit because I start the chapter without even the mask!

well, then it helps indeed! :D
I did not noticed a few air filters on the tower after Miller had been wounded by the Daemon, so I picked up and playing like you said I ended the story with 3 minutes of air! :D LOL

btw I i picked up the Enlighten final even if a few minutes ago I read on a wiki that this is not consider in last Light, that I'm going to play in the next days, so I'm a little upset of that. saw videos of the other final but the one I chose is much better, I think; honestly this game gave me a lot of positive feelings; yea there are things that could have been better, like the entire stealth mode but I can easily forgive these things considering emotions this game gave me. often while playing all I could say was WOW! and the final is great!
Glad that I could help. Have to say I found the end kinda anti-climatic, although I didn't realise there were multiple endings. At which point do you have to make a choice?
do you mean anti climatic because all along the game they gave you many suggestions? I can agree with that and the first thing I thought after shoooting the laser control syste was: "That's what you wanted from the start, devs, right?" but this is also one of the thing I can forget when considering the overall experience..

the finals are two; as I read on a wiki first you will have no choice if during the game you commmitted only bad actions (like not helping people asking for cartdriges): in this case you go straight to the Ranger final (which is the real final, rockets alunched); if you did help people and maybe also try stun enemies during te game instead of just killing them you have the option to choose if shut at the laser pointer or not: shooting it brings to Enlighten final, not shooting to the Ranger one..
I got the ranger ending then (blown everything up). Was a little unsatisfying as I never really found out who this mysterious foes were nor what they wanted. Also it's kinda lame if the solution to plotline is just a big explosion.

they were the Black Ones; they should be some kind of mutants.. if you recall the first or second chapter Artyom's pals clearly said that Balck Ones do not phically attack enemies but they seed in minds, which brings to madness. This is because Black Ones try to communicate with humans but not everyone is able to receive the message; Artyom indeed is able, so his pals often says he's kind of immune, do you recall?
Basically Black Ones try to convince humans that they are not hostile and they do not want to fight.

Last but not least the Ranger final is not the end. Metro last Light begins where Metro 2033 ends. The original books seem to go even further: I did not read the books and don't know what's the plot, but there's a series: Metro 2033, Metro 2034 and Metro 2035 for sure, maybe more..

guess I should change the title of the thread with a POSSIBLE SPOILER warning, don't want someone to blame at me because he's still playing.. :D

I recall him being immune (or rather somewhat resistant) to their mind games, however I don't recall them saying anything that made sense to me. Also, whenever I tried to interact with them other than running away, I had to load a checkpoint...

actually he is not really immune but rather able to receive their messages, something like a medium, I guess :D
