Steam isn't an alternative for me, I hope the GNU/Linux version comes to GOG one day. I'll buy it if that ever happens.

It's a bit sad since all that Redux stuff was on sale just now - but I didn't purchase. This thread is so old now, and I know that you can play at least Last Light for maybe a year now on Linux via Steam... and here is still no Linux version. Sad. Bacause I'd rather buy here DRM free instead of having to run the Steam environment all the time. Or even worse, having to be online.

What is even sadder is that article was made almost seven months ago now and we still don't have the Linux versions on GOG.

+1 for this. It sounds like its mostly the game publisher holding this back. I still hope that GOG does everything it can to make this happen. I always prefer to buy games that are DRM-free and have Linux clients. It annoys me to no end when I have to choose between DRM-free GOG versions with no Linux client and DRM Steam versions with Linux clients.

Hm, interesting to read that gog.com is the one holding the linux version back for release and not Deep Silver. Not really surprising.

Really sad especially since these game are available for Linux everywhere besides gog.

Well they're Steam-only anywhere else... right now it's impossible to get DRM-free versions of them :/

Apparently they aren't here due to some kind of technical issue, but I'm unsure what kind of technical issues they could be having that would hold back their release here - I bought them on Steam while they were 80% off some time ago & they run almost perfectly for me (I did have some major graphical issues to start with, but that was entirely my fault for running some outdated graphics drivers...)

Common GOG, please, don't punish your Linux customers, give us this game. Introduce it as "without support" or s.t. If it doesn't work "out of the box", well we are Linux users, we will get it running and you guys will get feedback on what's wrong. It would be a classical win-win situation. This would be not the first Linux game not running "out of the box" but sold here anyway. Don't betray yourself, most of such games I had to "convince" first, but I never complained and I think most Linux users wouldn't.

+1 for the Linux version on GOG. It's sad that we have to choose either DRM-free on Linux version, but cannot have both.

Try contacting the Developers or GOG support.

GOG-support won't answer the question. I've tried even with the link from this thread and no one answered. So GOG seems having no further interest giving us here a clear feedback!
