Should I just emulate mgs2 now? I'd rather have saved in my library but I really wanna have it saved with mgs1 should I just wait if it ever comes back or just emulate?

MGS2 updated today. Maybe someday it will return to GOG and I hope it will bring Metal Gear 2 with it as well.

Sadly change log was not updated in Galaxy for MGS2. Original MG was updated as well. It was a few megabytes, so it's probably nothing extreme. Maybe someone from GOG stuff will respond or eventually Galaxy's change log will be updated.

Update: There is change log on site:
Internal Update (31 January 2022)
- fixed cropped game screen on AMD RDNA architecture graphics cards
