OtaClock (オタクロック) is a neat desktop application displaying you the time and date with Otacon.
There are download links preserved by the Wayback Machine where you can download it. Also, there are two language versions available i.e. Japanese and English.
Unfortunately, I am not able to provide the download links myself. So you need to use a search engine and trace the download link by yourself.

Hey, so you should be able to post (close to) links if you put a space between the ".", or otherwise break up the link, like gog(.)com

Obviously the person has to remove the extra unnecessary characters but that's pretty close.

Anyone here got the alarm clock to work on OtaClock?... it doesn't seem to work on my end...

I use Windows 10 and it works for me. Can you perhaps elaborate further, please? What is the issue?

Not gonna lie, I forgot about this way back. Glad to see this brought up again and I got it downloaded and on my desktop. BTW it looks GREAT! on 4k monitors. Wish he talked when you poke him or something.

Well basically I set the alarm clock on OtaClock to on and I set my custom time for the alarm clock in the alarm.txt file but when it hits that time nothing happens at all. How did you get it to work?.

Oh, you mean that... I wasn't aware of it. Maybe there's some fix out there somewhere?

I had this exact issue and was able to solve it thanks to a random youtube comment. Try changing the encoding in the Alerm.txt file to UTF-8. You can do that by opening Alerm.txt in windows notepad and going to File, Save As. Pick the UTF-8 encoding in the bottom of the Save As window. Don't forget to save!

Also, make sure Otaclock's "Alarm Mode" is on (right click Otaclock, View, Alarm Mode). ANSI encoding works for me too, but the file changes automatically to UTF-8 for some reason. The other options don't work at all, including "UTF-8 with BOM". Maybe Otaclock's original developers used different character encoding because they were in Japan and the localization team didn't get that detail?
