I get this message when trying to run Megarace 2: "MSCDEX IS NOT STARTED. I can't continue". I know it refers to a cd-rom driver. How do I get past this? It didn't show on my other computer, but on that pc, it would hang up looking for a cd, so I guess that will be my next question when this gets resolved. EDIT-I forgot to mention that I'm using DOSBox 0.74.

While this sounds like a dumb and canned answer the only solution I'm afraid is to reinstall using default settings and letting it install its own version of DOSBOX. There appears to be no major issues with having DOSBOX 0.74 in its default folder and a previous version in the game folder.

You need to mount your cd image using -t cdrom for dosbox to get mscdex.
