I'm very frustrated i can't play this game that brings back so many memories. When i first open the game it shows only half of the EA logo. The next thing i notice once i start the campaign (when you're at the briefing where you click continue) the screen doesn't pop up. its stuck on that one of the paper. i hear the audio and everything perfectly. One weird thing it does is i can see my ammo count at the bottom left but that's it. please help!

I'm having this exact same problem. What he's saying is that the game does seem to be running; it's just not clearing the menu first. If you look down where the ammo count is, you can actually move the mouse around and see the architecture moving in the background. Very odd.

I'm running Win 7 64-bit (I have to assume Bob is too, as no one else seems to have this problem). Any ideas?

EDIT: I've tried different compatibility modes and the other expansions; all seem to behave the same way: running the game without clearing the previous menu/screen.

Ok i did a little research on the internet and i found a solution. Try going to options in the game menu and change the 32 bit color to 16 bit color. This works for me and the game runs now fine. Try it and tell if it works for you too.

LovePsycko: Same problem here.
GOT IT!!
Grab the "Windows 8 fix" file on this page:
http://www.mohaaaa.co.uk/AAAAMOHAA/content/mohaa-windows-8-fix

Open it, but don't extract it. Only extract the file called opengl32.dll to your Medal of Honor - Allied Assault War Chest directory (it won't overwrite anything).

The game should automatically recognize it and work fine. Please let me know if you get it running (and thanks to luny for posting this fix at http://www.gog.com/forum/medal_of_honor_allied_assault_war_chest/game_wont_open_wow ).

Cheers!

EDIT to add: I've noticed that this fix does make the graphics on the menus (in my game, anyway) skew slightly, but it's not a problem, and the game itself looks fine.

This worked for me, thanks a lot! Was thinking I wouldn't get to play this again after so long!
