The surge was not automatically added and I think the "serial key" hot link on the storpage brings you to a OLD gif that is no longer relevant as GOG does not look like that any longer...

Can anyone point me in the right direction to where I can find where the serial key is or how exactly I redeem The Surge?

Go to your account games page https://www.gog.com/account and click on MW5 to open the info card thing. Click on more (just under the title next to language), click on serial keys. I see my one there.

Also, when you get the code go to "Redeem a code" (https://www.gog.com/redeem) to unlock the game.

And what do we do if the Surge's code isn't there? It's not in the account page either.

the code comes from Gog themselves so it will auto be there as long as you actually got the mech warrior game from Gog... if you got it off some kind of stream give away then thats another matter
