I was expecting some awesome master of orion wallpapers for my desktop but it turns out you only get about 4 different sizes of the same image. That's it , 1 IMAGE... It's not a brilliant wallpaper either

I think the problem is that there isn't many Master of Orion wallpapers out there..

Don't forget that wallpapers were basically an almost unknown thing for MS OSes at the time.

Interestingly enough, they didn't include the wallpaper from the MoOII CD.

I agree, wallpapers were weak. There is not even a ship on them. I mean come on. :P

What are you guys talking about? The wallpaper that I put on my desktop was the original from the cd I have sitting on the shelf. Two ships approaching a starbase. Were there others in the installation that I missed?

Whatever, I remember being pretty impressed with it back in the 90's. I'm not sure what more you could expect from that era. The wallpaper isn't anything special, but I like it. It reminds me of my pentium 100 hehe.

They're probably referring to the wallpaper available on GOG.com and not the one from the CD.
