rocco....might be just me, but sometimes I do switch between versions and can't do this in the strawpoll of yours....just saying ;)

i switch versions too, in fact i recenty played some v1.1 games (even made a youtube vid about it).
so in fact my question should have been 'which version do you play the most?'

Selfless selfpromotion :D ;) (and 1.1 :O long time ago that I played this version )

even with most....at least for me hard to determine.... I do quite often fall back to 1.3, but as you guys push out every so often updates ( thumbs up ! ) would mean that in my case 1.3 would win in this kind of poll ;)

yep 1.31.... funny enough my English original version was shipped out as 1.2, the original German was shipped out 1.31 .... never had a 1.1. So excuse my mistake for my previous 1.1 comment *blush*

Which version was shipped out as 1.1? (just wondering)

The North American release cd-rom was version 1.1. It was available in retail from Nov 22, 1996.
A v1.2 patcher was released just a few days later.
The European English cd-rom followed somewhere mid december (with different cover art) and started as version 1.2 (it's the version i bought back in the day).
I assume the German language version started as v1.3, otherwise I can't see why Microprose would have released a german language v1.31 patch.

Funny enough, I always mixed them up when I wanted to play either or.....and MoO2 complaining, insert CD :D

And why do the American version always have to differ from the European? :D
Reminds me of Battle Isle series....just saying ;)

And is it already so long ago that we bought those games? :O
