I never particularly enjoyed the previous games in the series, I know I am the only one, so I naturally decided to buy this game and try a Let's Play of it.

The only two things so far I am not that crazy about are the less than huge, huge maps (reminds me of BOTF's) and the unless I am mistaken, lackluster options for a custom race. Not even naming it? Seriously?

Anyway, gameplay wise it looks good so far. :)

It always takes a while to see the full stuff in a game. The lack of naming stuff really annoys me. I can`t name myself and I can`t name planets.

Most of all, the lack of response from Devs (when I clearly see them posting), makes me once again wonder if I put my money in the right place. I remember Devs being much better than this with their customers in the past.

I actually like the game, but it`s these little touches that really makes a game feel `yours` which are missing that I don`t understand. Almost all games of this type allow personal naming, Gal Civ 3 certainly does and so does AOE 3, but no, not this. WHY?

Yes, it is to the very least annoying the lack of customization options of basic stuff. It's like no one thought about it during game design. None of them played a strategy game before? I don't get it. Ever since Civilization (1) you could rename your side. I get it not having customizable ship designs and graphics, but...name?

I am having a blast so far, 2 episodes already up, more to follow from Monday as during the weekends I do retro games only.

Keep it up. I enjoy the game also. On Terran right now. I like the darker Human side.

My first Let's Play of this game is now officially over.
A defeat. The combination of being a noob in this game, one huge mistake during setup (went for a huge planet without considering the effects the higher gravity would have), 2-3 major defeats in battles, forced me resigning for the good of my people.

I've done the same with 57 episodes now. Multiple factions, multiplayer, fun, anger, fun and a little more anger. Its german but maybe someone will have fun watching it :)

I wish I could speak German. I know it's not hard to speak German, after all millions of people speak it :p but unfortunately I am not one of them. Good luck in your campaign. :)

Thank you too :) I think i am done with the game, for now. Maybe there is coming some new stuff in the future. But for now, i am going with Endless Space 2.

If you can speak english, german is not that hard :)

Hope there will be an update for MoO (content) soon
